Volunteers
The Festival is run by a few dedicated volunteers. Closer to the Festival, additional volunteers come on board and help in various ways, e.g. installing the artworks, promotional material distribution, packaging and shipping, gallery sitting, to name a few.

Dawne Rudman
Festival Chair and Curator
Dawne Rudman (she/her) has been running the World of Threads Festival since 2012. For Festival 2009, she was Exhibiton Coordinator and she has been involved with the Festival since 1998. Prior to retirement, Dawne worked in Human Resouces, Event Planning and ran an alumni association.
Gareth Bate
Festival Curator and Designer
Gareth Bate (he/him) has been Festival Curator of the World of Threads Festival since 2012. He has also done all the web design, graphic design and exhibition photography since 2009.
