The four artists in this exhibition are unified by the idea of protrusion. Some pieces spike out from the surface while others penetrate from one floor to the next. Featuring wall and installation work.

Polytopia (Reef), 2011, 100" tall x 140" wide, Post manufacturing industry and mill-end scrap textiles including canvass, upholstery, vinyl, nylon, foiled nylon wall covering, ripstop and waterproof fabrics, thread, staples.  Technique: Pyramids are sewn and assembled to each other by stapling.

Cycles of Life, main trunk approx. 24" diameter & 13' tall. Felt, wire  and wood, reaching from floor to ceiling. The felt trunk, root and branches are sewn, frayed, painted, and cut to obtain the texture of wood bark.
