Vinitha Sara John: Botanically Inspired coat, April 2018, Size 8.
This seamless felted coat is made from superfine Italian merino and silk chiffon using the nuno felting technique. Then eucalyptus leaves are laid on the coat, tied into bundle and steamed. The heat helps the leaves release their pigments onto the felt. Finally, the coat has been finished with Kantha stitches using silk thread.

This seamless reversible coat is made from superfine merino wool and silk velvet using the nuno felting technique. The collar is felted with silk fibers and the edges have been hand stitched with copper silk thread. The coat is black on the inside. It can be worn with or without the sash.

Marty Ornish: Biased, (2018). This media is a 1930’s abandoned cotton quilt.  Does sewing on the bias lead to thinking about Bias. This garment is convertible as well, unzip the skirt and what is left:  a biased tunic, hand woven in the back to obfuscate the original design.
