A sequel to our much appreciated 2012 exhibit Quiet Zone, this show gave visitors the opportunity to pause, to breath, and to relax amidst muted colours, receptive forms and an imperturbable stillness. Artwork in this show came from 15 countries!

Cast Mountain Kesa (priest robe), 2014-5, 70 x 36 x 18, Pieced, quilted various fabrics; screen, mesh, net, sheer metallics, silks, synthetics, loose recycled fibers. Abaca paper pulp. Machine sewn and quilted randomly, holes cut in layers. Dipped and cast in paper pulp which was worked into the fabric and pasted to suggest Buddhist scriptures.
