Greatest Hits

Get to know the World of Threads Festival through a curated selection of some of the most memorable and noteworthy gallery shows, artworks and installations from our last Festival in 2023, and all the way back to 2007. Over the decade we have exhibited thousands of artworks by hundreds of artists from around the world.

2023-24 Festival

Visit the 2023-24 World of Threads Festival. Exhibitions included our main gallery show Amorphous. We mounted 39 Solo Shows and 10 Installations. Smaller group shows included Wings, Covid Forever and Cat Walk III.

2018 Festival

Visit the 2018 World of Threads Festival. Exhibitions included our main gallery show Flow. We mounted 22 Solo Shows and 4 Installations including the major show Between Presence and Absence. Smaller group shows included Botanical Realm, Fibre 3D and Cat Walk II.

2016 Festival

Visit the 2016 World of Threads Festival. Exhibitions included our main gallery show Cosmic Geometry. We mounted 20 Solo Shows and 6 Installations including the major show Late in the Season. Smaller group shows included Quiet Zone II, www, Cat Walk and Kimono Road. We also had two off-site exhibitions me and you, and Judith Scott.

2014 Festival

Visit the 2014 World of Threads Festival. Exhibitions included our main gallery show The Red and the Black. We mounted 50 Solo Shows and 6 Installations. We also had two off-site exhibitions strung out and undone, and The Last Supper.

2012 Festival

Visit the 2012 World of Threads Festival which took place in Oakville and Toronto. Exhibitions included our 3 main gallery shows Quiet Zone, Momento mori and De rerum natura (On The Nature of Things). Smaller shows included Myth Making and Variegated Threads. In Toronto we had exhibitions THREADSpace, Material Connections, Protrusion and Where Were You When Amy Winehouse Died?

2007 Festival

Visit the 2007 World of Threads Festival back when the festival was only Common Thread International exhibition.
