This page features highlights from Festival 2007. This was the first festival with any photographic documentation. Our major show was the Common Thread national juried exhibition at Sheridan Gallery in Oakville, which featured ??? artists from Canada, ??????. We also had the Salon and an exhibition called Guilded Threads featuring work by Oakville's many fibre art guild members.

The Salon
2007 Exhibition: Artwork
The Salon featured artists who submitted work to the Common Thread exhibition but who were not selected by the jurors. We felt there was some very interesting work that didn't make it in, so we created a show specifically for those artists. It was inspired by the famous Parisian exhibition the "Salon des Refusés."
